Punjab PSTET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

The Punjab School Teacher Test is organized every year by the Punjab School Education Board. In Punjab PSTET 2024, the examination is conducted for a total of two papers in which different eligibility criteria are kept. • All citizens of India can apply.
• The applicant should be 18 years old.
• Candidates appearing for Paper 1 appear only to become teachers of students of classes 1 to 5.
• Paper 1 candidates must have passed the 12th class from any recognized board.
• After the 12th class, it is necessary to have a two-year diploma in elementary education.
• It is mandatory to secure a minimum of 45% marks in class 12th.
• Must have scored more than 50% in 12th class in Paper 1 and must have passed four years of Bachelor of Elementary Education.

Punjab PSTET Paper 1 Eligibility Criteria  

• All citizens of India can apply.
• The applicant should be 18 years old.
• Candidates appearing for Paper 1 appear only to become teachers of students of classes 1 to 5.
• Paper 1 candidates must have passed the 12th class from any recognized board.
• After the 12th class, it is necessary to have a two-year diploma in elementary education.
• It is mandatory to secure a minimum of 45% marks in class 12th.
• Must have scored more than 50% in 12th class in Paper 1 and must have passed four years of Bachelor of Elementary Education.

• Paper 2 candidates must have passed the graduation examination from any recognized university.
• Paper 2 candidates must have passed Graduation with a one-year Diploma with 50% marks.
